Handmade pourer ~ Pebblestone

Gorgeous handmade pourer, made from slightly speckled, sand coloured stoneware clay. Each piece is created using a technique called slipcasting, where liquid clay is poured into a plaster mould, left to set for the desired thickness and the excess slip poured out. The basic shape is then altered to create this gorgeous pourer shape ~ the base is widened, dimples are added and a spout is created by hand. A beautiful pourer suited for all sauces and dressings, available in two sizes.

Our stunning Pebblestone glaze features several different glazes layered together to create a beautiful range of colours and pattern that is varied on each piece. Colours range from smoky blue, bluegum & green tones through to browns and natural tones depending on thickness and layering of glazes. Glazes are applied loosely and partially splattered on in a Pollock-type manner, making this range truly unique and oh-so-much fun (albeit messy) to glaze!

Our Rugged Earth Collection features layered finishes, consisting of several hand-brushed glazes that react in the kiln together to create the beautiful colours. Colours, glaze variations and darkness on the rims may vary from the photos shown ~ part of the beauty of these glazes.
