Our stunning Everglades plates feature several different glazes layered together to create a beautiful range of colours and pattern that varies on each piece. Inspired by our local Noosa Everglades, the colours and patterns created are reminiscent of sparkling rivers and sunshine rays on trickling waterfalls, surrounded by mossy rocks, dark water rockpools, green mangroves and white sandy beaches. This glaze has to be seen in person to truly appreciate all the subtle variations that happen when one glaze meets the other.
These plates are made by hand from beautiful white Australian porcelain clay. Each piece is cut, formed and glazed entirely by hand, creating a gorgeous organic feel with no two pieces exactly the same. The base of the plates is unglazed and polished smooth after firing, creating a vitrified stone-like surface with a tactile feel.
Dimensions Dinner plate: Approx. 26cm {A great size for dinner with enough space to plate beautifully, these dinner plates are a slightly larger size than our Ebb Tide Collection dinner plates}
Bread plate: Approx. 20cm {Great for lunches and sandwiches, or layer on top of our dinner plate to serve entrees or dessert}
Dessert / side plate: Approx. 15cm {Great for pastries, dessert, single sandwiches and cake}
